About

I’m British born but have lived here in the US for half my life. I write, and support my writer friends. If you’re a writer, check out my blog for writers at: gabicoatsworth.com.

This blog is about things that strike me as interesting, funny or ridiculous, including my Christmas catchup letters (which you can see got totally out of hand) and my take on life wherever I happen to be. There’s stuff about my childhood (now considered historical…) and my life, too

  1. Hello! I found you through Twitter, and now I’m following both of your blogs!

I love connecting with other writers and we seem to have the bi-continental thing in common, too.

I’m was born in the US, but I’ve spent more than half of my life in Scotland!

  2. Hi Gabi,

I have been way overdue in following blogs that I’ve merely been “lurking” through. So, here I am, officially following you! I love your history. My father was born in Pettswood, England, and he and his mother moved here when he was 9 years old after his father passed away. My dad has lived here since, but still has the brit accent and is pretty much all things brit.

I note that you live in CT. I’m not too far from you. I’m in NH. Did you get any snow from that big storm we had on Thursday?

    Have a wonderful day!
