I have been way overdue in following blogs that I’ve merely been “lurking” through. So, here I am, officially following you! I love your history. My father was born in Pettswood, England, and he and his mother moved here when he was 9 years old after his father passed away. My dad has lived here since, but still has the brit accent and is pretty much all things brit.
I note that you live in CT. I’m not too far from you. I’m in NH. Did you get any snow from that big storm we had on Thursday?
